Nathalie Syriani

Mrs. Nathalie Nabil Syriani is a licensed clinical psychologist with more than 20-year experience in the inpatient, outpatient and emergency room settings. She graduated from Saint Joseph University, Beirut, Lebanon, with a DEA in Clinical Psychology, and attended several training workshops at the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Philadelphia, USA, the King’s College, London, UK, Oxford Cognitive Therapy Center, Oxford, UK and the Universite de Montreal, Montreal, Canada.

Mrs. Syriani joined the Department of Psychiatry at the American University of Beirut Medical Center in 2013 as a clinical psychologist/psychotherapist, providing therapy interventions for axis I and axis II disorders with a special emphasis on schizophrenia. Prior to joining AUBMC, she worked for 12 years in the Department of Psychiatry at the Saint George Hospital University Medical Center, Beirut, Lebanon. In parallel with her experience with psychosis and her leading role in the field, Mrs. Syriani works with adolescents and adults presenting with mood and bipolar disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, personality disorders, ADHD, and PTSD.
